My partner and I just used First National Bank in Erie pa for a home mortgage. This was not to be our primary residents but for my kids so they could live closer to us. It was hard to get a response from the bank, reagrding concerns and questions after closing was sch , our Attorney had to inform us the bank was not ready we called the bank they did not call us. When all was said and done we complained which sent there professionalism down hill. We were bombard and made to look like bad people by the bank. My partner could not be here for the closing since he travels the bank had him give me power of attorney so we could close. Now the bank says they should never have allowed it and my partner must not care about the house since he could not be bothered to be here. Well he does care and has never been to any closing on all the house he currently owns. I got frustrated to the lack of returned calls I will admit and went to the office and stated one bad word, this is why they can treat me so poorly according the the vip of commercial mortgages. And our personal lender explained even though I have power of attorney my partnership in pa is not legal however if he marries a women he could have her help him. Save yourself a hassle find another lender truly they have no customer service skills. They could have said sorry at any time but instead point out what they believe to be are faults and how great the staff track record is. They still after the house is bought do not relise we are glad its ov still how they should not have done the loan. Why now because we complained or we are gay??? It was fine in till we closed and complained about how we were treated. .

What can you say...its a great bank! I didn't realize how good my bank actually was until my friend got a checking account at another bank. My experience with First National employees has always been good. They are professional, friendly, and willing to answer every question I ever have. When I set up my checking account, it was simple. They offer absolutely free checking, which allows me to set up my account, recieve a bank card, and two boxes of checks for free.I pursuaded now my frd to switch his checking account to First National, and was impressed with the ease of setting up an account.
